See, that’s what the app is perfect for.

Sounds perfect Wahhhh, I don’t wanna

Howdy-doo y'all, it’s ya girl Straw Witch! XwwX

figured it’s about time i tried my hand at makin’ on o’ them pinned post things i’ve seen on some mutuals blogs

now lemme start this off by stating this is my personal blog where i do whatever the hell i want, which as a late-twenties-year-old involves some adult stuff here and there.

so if any minors (meaning anybody under 18) happen upon my humble abode here on tunglr dot com, best you mosey on to greener pastures, young'un

i’m a trans lady that broke outta her egg state and figured out she’s actually a woman back in ‘18, and have since been making slow efforts towards figuring out how she wants transition

i have some ideas on how i wanna go about it, but funding and knowing where to go and what they charge is where i’m falling kinda short. hell, if i’m honest, i wouldn’t know a damn thing about how to transition, i’m kinda making this up as i go :P

but yeah, it’s been in little things, like this living strawperson i’ve made as an avatar for myself, or getting my hair done in ways that feel closer to feminine to me. just tryin’ bits of stuff at a time, i’m easing into it

other than that i’m just an old blogger what’d been here since 2012, during what us hamstanks called The Megapause

A crack in the labyrinth is coming along!

I really debated putting a roof on this thing; I liked the exposed beams and it was definitely easier to see the miniataur in there when it was open on top. But the whole point of the labyrinth was to create a feeling of oppression and enclosure, which is definitely more successful with the curving ceiling pressing down. It also helps to imply that this is part of a larger structure instead of some kind of open-air pavilion. The crack is really most evocative if it's understood that that is the only glimpse of sunlight he is getting, and if it's very insignificant from the outside.

Both the exterior of the labyrinth and the minotaur himself will get a layer of weathered bronze glaze. The inside of the labyrinth will be black--I'm undecided if I want just a sponged black stain or a matte black glaze. I'm leaning towards stain, but we'll see. Glaze is a long ways out; this will take forever to dry. It's not that huge--about 10x20 inches--because I wanted it to just barely be big enough for the minotaur to stand up in.
